How to Change Alarm Sound on iPhone

You can change alarm sounds on iPhone by opening the Clock app and tapping Alarm. After testing a few sounds, select the one you want and save it.

You can also purchase new alarm sounds from the iTunes store. There are a number of musical options that you can choose from, including alert tones of your favorite character’s voice.

Sound

If you’re a serial snooze-presser or simply don’t like the tone of the default alarm sound on your iPhone, you can easily change it to something more pleasant. To change the alarm sound on an iPhone, open the Clock app and tap Edit.

On the Edit Alarm screen, you’ll see a list of all the available alarm sounds. Select one and you’ll be able to test it.

Once you’ve selected a sound, tap Save. It will become your new alarm tone for this particular alarm.

If you don’t have a tone you prefer, you can purchase one from Apple’s Tone Store. Alternatively, you can use a song from your iTunes library for an alarm sound.

Vibration

Changing your iPhone’s alarm sound is a simple task, but it can be difficult to find something you like. There’s an ever-growing Tone Store in Apple Music, as well as many other options for waking up with an alert tone.

One way to personalize your alarm sounds is by creating a custom vibration pattern. You can then assign this vibration pattern to your favorite contacts.

To set up a custom vibration pattern, head to Settings > Sounds (or Sounds & Haptics on iOS 11). Select an option (Ringtone, Text Tone, New Mail, Sent Mail, Calendar Alerts, Reminder Alerts or AirDrop) and tap on Vibration at the top of the screen.

Once you’ve found a pattern you like, tap Record. Repeat this process until you’ve created a pattern you’re happy with. Then, give your custom vibration pattern a name and save it.

Ringtone

If you find the iPhone’s alarm sound too loud or just not your cup of tea, there are a few things you can do to change it. First, make sure the Ringer and Alerts volume slider is set to a reasonable level in Settings > Sounds & Haptics.

Then, disable the “Change with Buttons” toggle inside this setting so that the alarm doesn’t change when you increase or decrease the system volume.

Another thing you can do to change the alarm sound on your iPhone is to use a custom ringtone. You can choose from a variety of predefined and custom sounds that Apple has in its Tone Store or use your favorite song from Apple Music as an alarm ringtone.

You can also create your own vibration pattern and save it for future use. To create a custom vibration, open the Clock app -> alarm tab -> select the alarm you want to edit -> Sound => Vibration.

Song

If you’re a fan of waking up to music, you can easily change the sound that your alarm plays. There are many options to choose from, but you’ll want to experiment until you find something that suits your needs.

To change your alarm tone on an iphone, go to the Clock app and open up its alarm tab. You’ll see a list of all your alarms and the sound that they use.

One of the coolest features in this section is the ability to download a song and turn it into an alarm tone. You can either pick a song from Apple Music or add your own by syncing it from your computer.

Then, you can use it as your alarm tone by tapping on the orange checkmark to the right of it. This will save it to your Sounds screen where you can quickly switch between them. Alternatively, you can also set it as your default ringtone or text tone.
